- • Our experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing due to the consistently poor service and lack of communication from the staff. From the beginning, staff failed to explain important information clearly. For example, no one told us that we needed to notify reception if we wanted our room cleaned. Despite this, we were charged a $5 daily cleaning fee, which made no sense. We also weren’t provided with additional shampoo or shower gel during our stay. To make matters worse, one of our rooms had not been cleaned when we checked in. After we complained, we were moved to another room. The breakfast experience was equally frustrating. We informed the waiter that we do not eat meat, and he assured us that our order contained no meat. However, when the food arrived, the potatoes contained chorizo. When we pointed this out, the waiter suggested replacing it with a salad. I asked for avocado instead, which seemed like a reasonable substitute. To our surprise, we were then charged extra for the avocado, and we spent around 15 minutes trying to get the charge removed from our bill. The hotel manager acknowledged the issues we experienced and offered us a $100 hotel credit as compensation. We also had an additional $100 credit through Booking.com. Before using these credits, we specifically asked the staff several times whether they could be used entirely towards food and were told that they could. However, when it came time to settle the bill, the receptionist suddenly claimed that not all of the credit could be applied to food and that some had to be used on activities instead. This contradicted what we had been told throughout our stay and was incredibly frustrating. Overall, the service was disorganised, communication was poor, and the customer experience fell well below expectations. Although the manager tried to make amends with a credit, it did not make up for the repeated inconveniences and poor treatment we experienced. I would not recommend this hotel.

- • We were with a group and one couple had ants in their room. Tubs were hard to get into. We stayed in 2 different rooms and one bed was good and one was soft (had low spots).
