- • The hotel is advertised as five stars and it's not worth it. Old towels. They say there is a sauna and Turkish bath, but the Turkish bath is a small old room that doesn't even heat up. The breakfast buffet is small. The TV in the Deluxe Suite wasn't working. Everything smells old, and it's understandable that it's an old place, but the smell should be addressed. It's not worth the quality-price ratio. Additionally, I wrote before booking here and they told me they didn't have rooms, but then I checked on Booking and they did. The staff doesn't explain anything. The service IS NOT OF A FIVE-STAR HOTEL.

- • The TV volume button didn't work and since the room faced the street with a very beautiful view, sometimes the noise from the street made it hard to hear.
Overall a very nice stay in a beautiful historic building
The grounds were surprising and beautiful, with many places to sit and relax. The staff was very nice and helpful.

- • For the quality of the hotel, the grout in the bathroom was dirty, and there was mold on the walls by the shower. Breakfast was nice, but for tea drinkers, it was annoying to get a tiny cup of tea and always ask for a top off and a new tea bag. It would be nice to have teapots.

We loved it!
Very nice hotel, well located in the heart of Cuenca. Spacious suite, in a quiet environment, very comfortable and cozy. Quality bedding and many small attentions from the staff (hot water bottles placed in the bed at night, even though it wasn't cold in the room, it's a nice touch, a welcome note upon arrival and a fruit platter). The rest of the hotel is also very beautiful, excellent breakfast and very good restaurant. I forgot something in the room when leaving, the hotel quickly notified me and arranged for the delivery of what I had forgotten to another hotel where I was staying. A big thank you to the entire team, we had a wonderful stay.

Excellent stay at this hotel. Highly recommend staying here when visiting Cuenca!
Very clean, centrally located making getting around Cuenca a breeze, and the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and responsive (they’ll help you find a taxi, recommend great spots to eat and things to see, and the front desk was available essentially 24/7) We had a minor issue with the flushing mechanism in our toilet and we told staff. They fixed it immediately!
