Historical wonder
Helpful and accommodating staff. Good location close to the Cathedral of the Immaculate Reception and the other iconic buildings of the historic quarter. The courtyard and the back gardens are enchanting. Breakfast was quite good.

👎 Disliked
- • The room windows open only to the interior courtyard, so if you like to have the windows open you might want to ask for an upper floor or garden view rooms if those are available.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT
The proximity to the city center. And its garden.

- • The hotel is marketed as a five-star and it's not worth it as such. Old towels. They say there is a sauna and a Turkish bath, and the Turkish bath is a small old room that doesn't even heat up. The breakfast buffet is small. The television in the Deluxe Suite didn't work. Everything smells old, and it's understandable that it's a place with many years, but the smell should be addressed. Quality-price ratio is not worth it. Besides, I wrote before booking here and they told me they didn't have rooms available, but then I checked on Booking and they did. The staff doesn't explain anything. The service IS NOT THAT OF A FIVE-STAR HOTEL.
Dreamlike facilities as if lost in a castle
Breakfast was very varied, including delicious typical regional dishes.

- • The TV volume button didn't work, and since the room faced the street with a very beautiful view, sometimes the street noise made it hard to hear.
Overall a very nice stay in a beautiful historic building
The grounds were surprising and beautiful, with many places to sit and relax. The staff was very nice and helpful.

- • For the quality of the hotel, the grout in the bathroom was dirty, and there was mold on the walls by the shower. Breakfast was nice, but for tea drinkers, it was annoying to get a tiny cup of tea and always ask for a top off and a new tea bag. It would be nice to have teapots.
