- • WiFi was very fast when it worked but the connection was not always stable. My Portuguese was insufficient to communicate smoothly with the super friendly lady at breakfast... the advantage was that I got to explore a few surprising breakfast options beyond my normal choices :-)
Excellent stay at Ponta Negra beach
This place is fantastic. The rooms are super cute, the common areas such as the pool and the restaurant are amazing, the restaurant food is also fantastic. The staff is super attentive, and I had the best time there. There is also Sheyla, the cute reception cat. No flaws.

The colonial style and decoration of the place. The hotel was very well located, right in front of the beach.

Overall very good environment; the internal courtyard, on the ground floor, with a very good restaurant (menu, great food quality and careful presentation of the dishes), pool and tables with umbrellas, is a very pleasant environment. The entire team provides extraordinarily good service, with attention, care, professionalism, and a real interest in meeting the needs of guests. Daily cleaning is very good.

- • The beach view is beautiful, but access is very difficult; on the side of the hotel there is an exit to the beach, but soon there is a difficult barrier for the elderly or people with mobility difficulties: a very steep ramp and a staircase that, although very wide and with suitable steps, has no support. After overcoming this first obstacle, there is a boardwalk, great for walking and cycling and rollerblading; but to access the sand, more stairs, not always safe and in good condition; and after walking a few meters on the sand, access to the water is still a challenge because there is a level difference between the upper sand part and where the waves reach. In short: beautiful view, but difficult access. The waves are high; unsuitable for the elderly and children.
The staff is very friendly and made a change even though they were not obliged to. The restaurant is high-end, total gourmet. Delicious, well served, reasonably priced, and a very pleasant atmosphere. All the details are very nice and well managed.

Excellent hotel with great staff, an amazing view of the ocean and the best restaurant in town.
The staff are the best, especially the woman serving us breakfast. Reception was great. The room was kept clean. The restaurant is awesome. Our colleagues all came there to join us. Thanks for having vegan choices. We had a nice view of the ocean, right in front of us.

- • Have a blanket or two handy for the beds, as it is not easy to keep the A/C from getting too cold. It would be nice to have a free bottle of water each day, robes and slippers would be great. Maybe stick to Brazilian music? It was sometimes too loud, but maybe that's the bar below.
