- • Unfortunately, a lot of noise, and the turbocharger couldn't handle it, it was very hot. The same breakfast every day.
Central location, comfortable and cozy
The location is perfect to enjoy both the city and the main attraction (Tsarevets Fortress), which is a few minutes' walk from the hostel. The place has a lot of history and retains the charm of an old house, it is very cozy. We did not enjoy breakfast, but everyone described it with a good grade and we were left wanting, the dining room was very nice, very complete. It has access to a very pleasant garden terrace to relax with a quiet drink after a long day.

- • The air inside the room (double room) did not cool too much, but as the night is cool, it was enough to open the window during the night. We have no other complaints, it matched very well with what was described in the ad. Although free street parking is described (which is true), I confirm that it is quite difficult to find there. Driving on this street and the surrounding streets is complicated due to their narrowness and slope (very old streets), they are also two-way. I recommend entering with caution and arriving with time to locate a decent parking spot. We were lucky and found one by chance in a good nearby location but better if you have a plan B in mind.

- • The breakfast, although plentiful, is monotonous and lacks fruits (a shame when ripe peaches and figs can be found on the roadside or in stores) and juice. Natural cucumbers for breakfast, not so great...

- • The air conditioning does not work, if you leave the windows open you can hear the trucks and cars passing by on the street below. Bulgarian breakfast, limited choice, they bring you a plate with a slice of cheese pie, cucumbers, tomato, a boiled egg, and 2 pieces of cheese (hot tea upon request). Non-existent milk, same goes for bread, jam, croissants, cereals... (not essential for sure, but would have been appreciated 😅)
The location is very good, close to the old city and the new center. The room was very nice and clean.
