However, it was later processed as a normal stay completed without providing any evidence, shifting the responsibility to the guest and the website. Despite not staying, no apologies or refunds have been made so far.

An experience where confirmed reservations cannot be trusted, check-in refusal

  • Reserved and paid for 5 rooms for a film festival guesthouse, but check-in was refused due to the hotel mishandling the reservation details. Although the reservation confirmation clearly showed 5 rooms, on-site they claimed '1 room, reservation for 5 people,' stating that staying was not possible. As a result, guests could not stay and had to urgently find alternative accommodation. The subsequent handling of the situation was problematic as well. Despite requests for confirmation of the reservation details, no relevant information was provided, and after shifting the blame to the reservation site, further explanations or responses were halted. As it was a reservation involving important business schedules, significant operational disruptions and damages occurred beyond mere inconvenience. There has been no compensation for the related damages, let alone a refund for the unused rooms. It was an experience that was very difficult to trust in terms of reservation fulfillment and customer service.
