Nice area of town. Older hostel. Still works for the budget. Thanks for the stay

The inside of the private room is relatively clean, but the shower room and toilet are at the worst level. Also, the carpet outside the room is really dirty, and it wouldn't be surprising if a large number of mites appeared. It seems that a large number of Indian immigrants have settled on the lower floor of the hostel, and on the rooftop, they were doing strange cooking and physical labor. Their numerous slippers are left behind, and occasionally the door is open, peeking in reveals a really dirty way of life. The exterior is a relatively clean building with a McDonald's, but inside is chaotic. There is no toilet paper, and the cleaning situation is terrible. Some shower booths have broken doors, and some booths have no water. The booth I managed to find had hot water at least. However, the private room was clean with clean sheets and towels, so that aspect can be appreciated. I think the location is good and the price is cheap, that's all that could be taken.

Jerusalem was quite different this year from previous years. I was at several hostels, and it was more of a rule than an exception that there was nobody at the reception when I tried to check in. At this one, I had to sneak in and wait for about an hour before anyone came. The place didn't feel like a hostel anymore. There were very few tourists or travelers; the hostel was occupied by guest workers from India, none of them spoke English or Hebrew.

Didn't stay here. Asked for a refund because of the war and advisory to not go. But no response.

This is a different environment and very light mood

Cinema Hostel is unique, one of a kind. I came to rest but if you like nightlife, the bar and music are very popular. Nicest big outdoor balcony I have ever seen. I like the private capsule rooms, they seem a bit bigger than other hostels. It's a memorable experience to stay here.

Quirky place with a good atmosphere. Cabins were a bit dusty and some communal areas could do with a deep clean. But wouldn't put me off staying there given the price.

Well located. The breakfast is excellent, one of the best. Overall everything is fine... the only thing is if you are looking to rest 100% and have little noise in the place, there will be quieter options.
