Super friendly - they were so helpful with recommendations for the area, the accommodation was great with amazing views over the sea. We were traveling for Honeymoon and they left us a lovely bottle of wine on checkin to celebrate. Overall incredibly personal and welcoming experience.

Amazing Stay
This is an amazing place to stay. Spacious, clean, comfortable. Celia is a perfect hostess and can't do enough for you. Came back for a second stay, that's how amazing it is. Amazing wine room with a great selection to boot.

This was our second stay at Selkirk House. We would definitely recommend it to anyone staying in Hermanus.
Beautiful house in a quiet location. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was excellent.

- • The house wasn’t within walking distance from the town but this wasn’t a problem.
A wonderful hostess in a very well-kept house. The rooms are spacious, the bathroom with a hand shower 🤗 in the shower, comfortable bed, and everything you need. The breakfast.... an absolute '10'. It has everything you could wish for. Parking in front of the door, a small pool to refresh. And a wonderful night's sleep!!

Our stay was absolutely fabulous and we really didn't want to leave. Everything was top quality, exuded style, but was comfortable and relaxing. The breakfast was exceptional both in quality, choice and presentation. In many ways better than any 5-star hotel. Above all, Celia was the most amazing host. Nothing was too much trouble and her passion and enthusiasm shone through from the moment we arrived. Thank you, Celia and your staff for making our stay so memorable.
