Unique and beautiful lodge on a backroad of central Franschoek, but still in a tranquil
The most beautiful lodge, very welcoming and friendly staff and very unique atmosphere - feels like you come home to your family when entering the house (the open kitchen!). Excellent breakfast (they don’t have a fixed menu, they just prepare you whatever you feel like) with a family like dining table. Very tranquil and laidback feeling and a wide and well preserved garden. Would have loved to stayed longer!

Fantastic boutique Hotel - fantastic building and exquisite gardens Great location to walk into Franschhoek for restaurants etc Staff outstanding and customer service We had to leave early for a flight and they arranged a breakfast basket for us to have on our journey

A perfect end to our trip!
The breakfast was very extensive and very nice to sit at a very large table with a maximum of 3 or 4 other couples. The staff is simply super attentive and friendly: nothing is too much! La Clé Lodge is located close to the center so you can reach everywhere on foot.
