Exceptional accommodation
The exceptional location to visit Edinburgh, even though it was in the new area, everything was within walking distance. It was also very easy to get to the hotel by bus from the airport. The duplex room with two bathrooms was beautiful and also had views of Calton Hill. The fantastic breakfast had a pastry area, but the distinctive feature was the dishes they prepared on the spot, fruit, eggs benedict or royal, among others. The hotel staff was very friendly and before we left, they gave us many recommendations for our travel route through Scotland.

- • The food in the restaurant downstairs is totally tasteless. Really disappointing. Wouldn’t eat in there again. Shame.

- • The breakfast did not work at all. There were too many guests for too few tables, and one morning we had to eat in the room. Both food and drinks took too long to be served. The menu was not varied enough, and we missed a buffet where we could choose our food. At a price of almost 5000 DKK per night (for three people) at a five-star hotel, it was very disappointing.
We liked our welcome by the person who greeted us, the room, the location, the breakfast, and the room cleaning.

- • The garbage collection at 5 am every morning that woke up my daughter every morning, the elevator that smelled like fish all day long. Floor 1 is very complicated for a 5-star hotel if we have to use a service elevator to get there.
