Ahmad is the soul of Al Salam Camp and through his eyes, it is possible to get to know the wonderful Luxor from a different perspective
The environment is well-kept and clean, the common space is very pleasant but the highlight is definitely the owner Ahmad who helped us organize all activities in Luxor and travels in Egypt. Ahmad is a kind person rich in stories to tell, but also a good listener and available for any need. He allowed us to see sides of Luxor that not all tourists have the opportunity to observe and in his own way, he helps the most disadvantaged community. The location is excellent, being close to the city center but still away from the chaos and noise. Despite the heat, our room was equipped with a fan that allowed us to rest without problems. The meals at the camp were very good and plentiful, at fair prices. We stayed at the camp for 3 days and were sorry to leave, the atmosphere was friendly and homely. I recommend everyone to stop here, the value for money is excellent! We will definitely come back to visit Ahmad, now a friend.

Comfortable and clean hotel. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Great breakfast. The hotel is well located for visits to Luxor (Valley of the Kings, temples, ...)

- • I recommend the hotel but if I have to mention some things, I would say that the toilet gets flooded when taking a shower. A table in the room would be appreciated but nothing serious.
A quiet place away from the crowds of tourists. There are small bungalows with shared shower and toilet facilities.

- • Maybe a few years ago this place was really great. But now it is very dilapidated and requires at least cosmetic repairs.

A bit further away from others, but easy to find. Everything is simple, as it should be for the price. The owner is pleasant, moved us to a better room, exchanged money at a fair rate. Liked to chat - high demagogy pilotage (it's a compliment). You can rent bikes and visit tourist attractions. If you are looking for an economical option, this place is for you.
