- • Close to the highway and unfortunately not quiet due to being in the flight path of Perth.
Lovely short break
Location, close enough for easy travel, but detached enough that you could be anywhere.. very relaxing and lovely surroundings, the vineyard, the river beautiful.

Great location
We stayed for a wedding at Sandleford so the location was great. Check-in was great and customer service was awesome. Very clean and nice location with a nice balcony to sit.

A Lovely Getaway in the Swan Valley if you Want a Relaxing Break from the Day to Day.
Maya Maya was a delightful place to begin a driving tour from Perth to the Avon Valley via the Swan Valley and everything that has to offer. Professional, courteous staff, contacted me a couple of days before my arrival to double-check the details. I highly recommend opting for the buffet breakfast inclusion. On arrival, we checked in at the cellar door, then drove up to the room, and checked it out. Literally, spotlessly clean. How the shower screen didn’t have a single watermark on it was a source of extended (scintillating) conversation between us. The room had a lovely outlook over a quintessentially Aussie bushland view from the patio (beautifully curated by some clever landscaping in the foreground) making it easy to forget that I was a mere 40-minute drive from my home in the suburbs. We walked through the vines back to the cellar and did a wine tasting with food pairing, which we had organized in advance. I absolutely recommend this option, as we were looking forward to dining at The Homestead that evening. It did not disappoint. Excellent food, (which we attempted to pair with wine we thought would complement our dishes) a warm ambiance and fabulous service. The next morning we packed up, and managed to compliment the housekeepers as we headed back to the cellar door to check out. From there we went to enjoy a buffet breakfast, enjoying beautiful views over the grounds, before jumping back in the car and heading off to our next destination. It was a wonderful start to our week, and set the bar very high.
