We stayed here for our honeymoon, and the very very kind staff upgraded our room. The room was exactly what you need, and was very comfortable. The view of the lake was beautiful and despite there being a road right I don’t of you, we couldn’t hear it at all. The facilities were clean and in perfect working order.

Great family getaway in Te Anau.
The venue was great. The rooms were clean and functional. The cooking facilities were very good.

- • The room smelt stale. The bed linen did not feel fresh. The furniture was old and worn. The towels were old and discoloured. No shampoo and conditioner were provided (we had to buy some cheap shampoo sachets from reception). The shower head was filthy. The kitchen fit out was old, and the sink was scratched and the sink drain was stained. In the bathroom the towel rail was unhygienically located over the toilet. The television in the main bedroom had poor, distorted and flickering reception. We paid for a "deluxe" suite and got anything but that.
Peaceful, very comfortable, spectacular view, lovely staff. Highly recommended.
