Great location and comfortable beds, but the check-in service and room maintenance could be improved
The beds were comfortable, and the location was the biggest plus for us—the U1 line was only 200 meters away, and it was just one stop to the central station. Also, the front desk staff (men) in the evening were very polite. Our room faced the back garden, so it was peaceful with no street noise at all. The cleaning lady was polite and hardworking as well.

- • When we arrived at 1:45 PM and asked if we could check in early, the receptionist told us to wait until the official check-in time. While waiting, around 2:20 PM, we noticed other couples arriving and checking in right away because their rooms were ready. When I went back to ask about our room, she told us it was ready. As guests who had been waiting there for a while, I expected her to let us know instead of letting others go before us. Additionally, every time a door slammed nearby, the bed shook, which was really annoying. The rooms showed quite a bit of wear and tear, with marks and stains here and there. Also, I recommend providing extra blankets, especially for those of us not used to the chilly German evenings.
