- • It didn't have American breakfast as advertised. Located in a place where there were no nearby restaurants, the hotel itself didn't have a restaurant, forcing us to go out to dinner in a desolate place, with no traffic, a street that felt unsafe.
Recommended, close to downtown Quito
Staff super friendly and super helpful. Hotel is really almost in the center. Breakfast was very simple.

No regrets!
- Very good communication from booking reservation - Comfortable room with all the necessary extra equipment (small bottle of water offered in the room, safe, hairdryer, heating, bath mat to prevent slipping in the shower, among others). - I found the bed linen very comfortable (especially the duvet) and the wifi very efficient - The staff was really friendly and allowed me to have breakfast an hour before the displayed time because I had an early flight - The hotel is very well located and also secure with a badge required to enter

- • There are several audible noises in the hotel (such as a machine that starts up recurrently, as well as a wind chime sound every time someone passes by the reception). During the first night, there was also a couple who arrived late and rang the bell past midnight, which can be disturbing.
The hotel was pretty and the location in the old town was great.

- • Our twin room had only a large skylight through which light from the backyard fell (not like in the photo). The safe in the closet was not attached to the wall and could have been easily carried out under the arm. Our complaint regarding this was not addressed. In addition, there was a kind of pump rattling in the stairwell day and night (like you know from old elevators - but there was no elevator), so it must have been another pump causing the noise. Okay, it's an old building.
