Fantastic place with a fantastic host

We stayed at this property twice. During the break, we left our luggage and flew to San Cristobal for a few days. John is a wonderful host, speaks English perfectly, and is very approachable. He is also an excellent photographer. Thanks to his recommendations, we saw many beautiful and interesting places that you won't find on Google. He quickly arranged taxis to these places as well as to the airport. The breakfasts were fantastic, tailored to us, personalized and different every day, with very good local coffee. Served beautifully on the terrace upstairs with a beautiful view. The modern apartment is very functionally furnished, on the ground floor with an outdoor area, a kitchenette, and filtered water for drinking. On the walls, there are photographs by the host. Beautiful, modern bathroom, with everything you need, including, a rarity, hangers allowing you to hang all towels and not just one. Large comfortable bed. At least a 4-5 star hotel level (better than the 5-star hotel we stayed in later).

Lovely apartment, kept immaculate, a very helpful owner, and a good position in Puerto Ayora, 7 minutes from some great restaurants.

Perfect Puerto Ayora property

Torre Mar Galapagos Suites was the perfect property for our 4-night stay in Puerto Ayora. John, the owner and host, checked in with us frequently to ensure our needs were met. Early morning breakfast boxes, laundry services, comfy robes. Starlinks wifi and daily room clean were greatly appreciated comforts. The bed is comfy, tons of space to store our gear, and a very functional kitchen. I highly recommend this property and we would love to visit again.

Wonderful stay with beautiful views and exceptional hosts.

We had a fantastic stay at Donna and John’s apartment on Santa Cruz. John welcomed us on arrival, helped with our bags, and gave great recommendations for tours and activities. Communication was always quick and friendly. The apartment was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up. The beds were very comfortable, the air conditioning worked well, and it was quiet throughout our stay. The highlight was the large terrace with beautiful views over the town and ocean—we spent a lot of time relaxing out there. We also appreciated the extra touches like beach towels, drinking water, blackout blinds, and ample storage.

We stayed in the 'casita', super comfortable for a family of 4, very well equipped. A beautiful patio with a grill and table for outdoor dining. John is a luxury host! He advised and helped us with all the excursions we did. It was an excellent stay, highly recommended!

Perfect for families.

I liked the space for a family of 4, with a kitchen, rooms with A/C. John, the owner, is excellent, very caring. He helped us hire tours and the ferry to Isabela Island.
