Quiet, private and being surrounded by trees and mountain. Cottage is neat and tidy. Clean little property with everything needed to unwind and reset.

- • External smell of sewage every so often. Shower water pressure not great.
Amazing hosts!! When I asked about an air fryer- it didn’t have one - but boom - an air fryer arrived on day of check in

- • The couch in the lounge could do with some filling in the cushions to make it more comfortable. A sleeper couch would be great so that two people (friends) could come who don’t want to share a bed!!

Quiet and cosy. Nice comfortable bed. Lovely gardens. Secure off road parking.

- • No instructions on how to leave the property. Didn’t realise the gate would open automatically so had to go and find a member of staff to help us get out.
We spent nearly 2 weeks. The chalet, furnishings and pool was spectacular!
This was not a B&B booking. Self catering. Fully stocked kitchen with all the appliances we needed. The pool was a HUGE plus in the summer heat!

- • It was a great experience renting from Little Willow brook. The only thing we might have liked would have been a washer for clothes since we were staying for 2 weeks. But we managed to do laundry elsewhere and am sure Michelle would have facilitated had we asked.

- • Suggestion: les portes intérieures pourraient être changées. Une minuterie pour la pompe de la piscine serait requise.

Calm little oasis and perfect to relax!
We stayed here a couple of nights in Dec 2025 to visit Franschhoek and surroundings. The cottage was very comfortable and spaceous. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds cosy and comfortable. The terrace and view were really wonderful! A real peaceful gem amidst nature.

- • If anything, then the cleanliness. The floor was a bit dirty and the pool as well (trees overhanging the pool so naturally there will be some leave and such in it, but the cleaning pump was not working).

A beautiful cottage in a stunning location
Such an amazing cottage, you don’t appreciate how close the river is from the photographs, it’s such a stunning location. A 20 minute walk into the village but we drove and parking was no problem. Very comfortable and everything we needed. Would definitely return.

- • It would have been nice to have fly screens on the windows so you could open them as there’s no air conditioning. Wasn’t a problem though as we used the fly spray provided.
