Home away from home
The staff was very friendly, breakfast was delicious and freshly made. It’s located in a golf estate that is so peaceful

It served its purpose - we were close to where we had to be.
It is a very nice property in a nice estate. Well maintained and central and staff that sign you in are friendly. The rooms are good quality. Very nice golf course and club house.

- • The entire atmosphere in this guesthouse is not right. This is the 2nd time we stayed there. It has no warm welcome feeling downstairs when you enter. It is dead quiet with no people and is dark. On both occasions it was cold. Why don't they light the fire-place? Play some classical or friendly music. Offer guests some sherry or gluhwein or juice upon arrival. It really feels completely dead with no warmth or vibe or atmosphere. Everything is just dead and quiet and cold in the reception area and sitting room. You don't even feel welcome to sit downstairs or make use of that area. The rooms are great and it is a guesthouse with a lot of potential. They should open up the public areas, like the lounge and patio where the pool is and offer guests the opportunity to sit there and serve a glass of wine or cold drinks with dry snacks. It is difficult just to be in your room the entire time and you can't go anywhere else downstairs as all the lights are off, the fire-place is dead and there is no staff to serve something to drink on the patio and it is dead, dead quiet - not welcoming at all. They can improve on that and then it will be a wonderful experience. Currently there is no experience like that at all.

Received a lovely message from Annatjie before our stay which was such a lovely gesture. It’s those personal touches that make a huge impression. What an exceptional property and experience. Beautiful room. Clean and comfortable. Reception was professional and very friendly. The breakfast was excellent. We will be back for a longer stay.
