Could be better for a hotel like Kempinski. Was pleasant but not as expected.

- • None of the facilities were available, was told the pools would be ready, and the sauna would be available. Turns out the pools were not ready and the sauna was also unavailable. We didn’t have any amenities to use except the lower pool. Also, I left a request which was not fulfilled before arrival which was a simple welcome/birthday card to be put in the room.
Complete disappointment
I'm a regular in the hotel. Usually, I book in Kempinski cos the service is impeccable.

- • This visit was the level of a 1-star hotel. No proper room service. No in-room dining. The phone in the room wasn't even working; I had to call from my international number. I asked them to fix it; they didn't. The pools are not ready. To reach there takes a whole round. The service at the pool was terrible even though it was almost empty. I ordered my drink literally 5 times till I got it. Very disappointing.

- • To be honest this was the worst stay ever. This hotel used to be the best hotel in Beirut! The room was not clean; I saw the dust on my hands. The bed looked clean but I woke up with pimples all over my cheeks! The AC didn’t work and when I tried to call the reception at night no one answered! If you have small kids the balcony isn't safe a kid can't be left alone. The gym was closed even though we went during opening hours. When we asked for an ashtray and a pillow no one got them; we had to go down to the reception to ask for them ON OUR OWN. Not to mention the hotel didn’t mention that BOTH indoor pool and outdoor one are under renovation and closed right now on the app.. If you are under renovation or understaffed or can't give good service for the price simply do not take bookings!

My stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful, thanks to the incredible team who consistently go above and beyond. The level of service here is something special and truly sets this place apart. There are so many staff members who made my stay memorable — even those whose names I don’t know (and I wish I did, because they deserve recognition!). Everyone is professional, attentive, and genuinely caring. A special mention to the minibar gentleman who always seems to know exactly what I need, the reception team for such a warm and welcoming arrival every time, Sarah in red who stands out for her kindness and professionalism, the fantastic breakfast team, and the concierge staff who are always helpful and efficient. It really feels like a remarkable team effort throughout the entire hotel. Exceptional service, wonderful people, and a truly enjoyable experience. I look forward to returning. Highly recommended!
