best youth hostel I have ever stayed at
I have stayed at hundreds of youth hostels around the world, and honestly, Wakeup Sydney is the best in terms of value for money. The cleanliness is impeccable, the common areas are modern and well-maintained, and the dorms are spacious and quiet. The staff is exceptionally kind, always ready to help with a smile and good advice for exploring the city. Special mention to Hugo at the reception, who truly makes the arrival and stay more enjoyable with his efficiency and kindness. The location is ideal, just minutes away from transportation and major sites, perfect for easily exploring Sydney. Whether for a short or long stay, the atmosphere is friendly without being noisy, and you quickly feel at home. The facilities (kitchen, laundry, relaxation areas) are great and more than sufficient for an independent and budget-conscious traveler.

Excellent hostel, but at a premium price.
Great hostel, one of the best I've stayed at with every feature and amenities you could imagine and more. The speed and efficiency of the Filipino housekeepers and their Australian supervisor. Never seen beds made that fast before.

- • The very high price, about $75 a night during the week. Some sketchy people hanging in the lobby at 3am.

A beautiful, clean hostel with lovely helpful staff. In a great location relative to central station

- • Unfortunately far too expensive for the night I stayed. This is a hostel with shared bathroom facilities. Although a great hostel it is overpriced, at least on the night I stayed. No long stay discount for a private room.
Small rooms but very convenient compared to Sydney prices. Shared bathrooms are perfect
