The hostel upgraded me to another hostel (Crash Palace Backpackers) due to an on-site maintenance issue. I will not be able to review Rotorua Downtown Backpackers. The owner has multiple sites and I was informed in advance. Everything went super smoothly: great customer satisfaction quality 🤗👌

- • Very old carpets and a lot of spiders/spider webs in the window were the only real negatives
Very pleased. Staff are friendly and excellent. Very tidy. Of course. I was the only oldie!
So many food choices. Police station and Howard Morrison Theatre across the road. Lake and gardens within walking distance. I am 80 years old and would stay here again!
