A lovely stay in Taipei
A hotel is in an excellent location, a short five minute walk from Taipei main station, and a two minute walk from a lively night market. Despite being in a busy area, I could hear nothing at all from my room. The room had all advertised amenities, and I particularly liked the power shower. The daily cleaning was excellent. One of the receptionists spoke perfect English, which made check-in very easy. I would certainly stay here again.

- • The room had lots of standby lights for various devices, war appliances, and the smoke detector. These could not be turned off, which made them quite bright during the nighttime. This unfortunately affected sleep quality.
Thanks to the staff, I had a comfortable stay.
There are staff members who are proficient in Japanese and kindly taught me how to use the air conditioner. Thanks to them, I was able to spend time in a comfortable room. The hotel's location is convenient, just a 5-minute walk from exit A1 after arriving at Taoyuan Airport by MRT.

- • It would have been good if the instructions for using the air conditioner and shower were displayed somewhere, as they were difficult to understand.

- • The room is too close to the front desk. I can hear the voices of the people next door very clearly.
The staff are proactive, although there is not much difference in the size and feel of the rooms, I appreciate the friendliness of the staff. The toilet is clean and bright. The location is good, with good sound insulation to the outside, and staying on a lower floor did not result in being disturbed.

- • The cleanliness of the room and facilities needs improvement, especially the bed and pillows. The floor clearly shows a large amount of stains, and the TV equipment and hairdryer are somewhat old.

I probably won't repeat...
Since I mainly travel by bus, this hotel, which has many bus stops nearby, was good in terms of access. I chose this hotel because there are massage parlors, convenience stores, and PX stores nearby.

- • The soundproofing inside the hotel was better than expected, but the outside noise was very loud, and I was sleep deprived throughout the trip. Also, the cleaning of the water area was not great, especially the shower booth had quite noticeable mold that bothered me. There is only one elevator, so the waiting time can be quite long when it is being used for cleaning, etc.
