Judges Lodgings York

Great staff, beautiful room, great breakfast included, with very nice restaurant. No air conditioning and 66 steps up to your room, with no elevator. Beautiful hotel in a nice area, but you need to be very mobile to stay there.

This is a very old building and it has been lovingly and beautifully restored. Perfect location in York to stay. Easy walk from the train station and close to the York Minster and the Shambles market. Dozens of restaurants, pubs and shops around the hotel. Cannot wait to go back!

Charming comfortable hotel

Adorable, charming and comfortable hotel. Our room was cozy, bed, pillows and comforter were extremely comfy. We slept great. Loved the skylight in the bathroom. Staff was extremely attentive and helpful. Wonderful location with tons to walk to.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Judges Lodgings in York! The property itself is charming, full of character, and perfectly located for exploring the city. What really made the experience exceptional, though, was the outstanding customer service. Jacqueline went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect—from her warm welcome to her attentive care throughout our stay

The staff are tuned into accommodating their guests at the hotel and in their restaurant. I had a wonderful stay. The room was newly upgraded, had nice accessories and so very clean. Various coffees, teas and a couple sweet snacks topped it off. The one thing to be aware of is that three are lots of steps to get in and around this hotel. It is a gem otherwise.
