Kapama game reserve: paradise on earth
Had a memorable stay at Kapama Reserve with a group of friends. Of course, we saw all the big five and that was amazing in itself, but what made our trip very special was the splendid hospitality that Kapama offered. Every simple detail was taken care of, from our personal guide and the welcome drinks waiting at our arrival, the warm towels handed in after a dusty walk, the hot water bottles tucked in our blankets for the cold early morning drives. I would be remiss not to mention our excellent guide Mark, who generously shared his immense knowledge on animal and plants, and guided us through three days of adventures, including two memorable bush walks - highly recommended for all visiting. And of course, a warm thank you to our splendid host Nathalie, who went above and beyond to make sure sure our stay was indeed, memorable.

Unforgettable days
The staff treatment is incredible everywhere. The fact of being smaller, with personalized treatment, is a preciousness. Vernich, Nathalie, Thabane, and all the staff were top-notch. I will certainly return!

Amazing hospitality
This camp was our special pick of the 3 safari camps we had booked for our trip. Truly 5 star without a doubt and the “tent” was next level as the shower definitely the highlight. The bedding was so comfortable and the water babies just added to the cosiness on the cold nights.All the staff from management down made you feel welcomed and appreciated and nothing was too much or a bother. The level of service truly is indicative of training and care for the guests. The food and variety of the menu was 6 star and above and beyond restaurant quality. Definitely one location to return too, and the extra present for the birthday was so appreciated.

We stayed 3 nights, and it was one of our best holidays. From the two game drives, to the outstanding service and amazing food/wine this we recommend Buffalo Camp without hesitation.

The four days spent at Kapama Camp exceeded our expectations! From seeing all big 5 animals up close, to fine cuisine meals, luxury accommodations, all in the company of exceptional staff and service. Don’t change a thing! It is perfect for any couple seeking privacy, a unique experience, pampering and being surrounded by knowledgeable and kind staff and guests.

Luxury adventure
From the moment we arrived to a warm friendly and informative greeting until the moment we left it was an incredibly wonderful experience. The game driver and tracker were informative and went out of their way to make sure we saw as many of the animals as we could. The food was excellent and the variety was great. The room was comfortable and well equipped.

The Big 5, in luxury!
If you want an ultra-luxurious Safari trip, don’t look any further - this place is amazing!! Staff friendly, inclusive drinks at the bar and in your room (re-stocked daily) hot water bottles in morning drives and put in your bed at night was a really excellent and welcome touch (June is cold early and late). The food is fine dining, so good it’s ridiculous! The place is stunning!
