- • I don’t like to complain, but first off: it would be nice if there was a place to put your soap in the shower. I stayed on the main floor by the office and there is an adjacent suite that they just attached a fake wall beside the other suite on the main floor and you can hear the person using the bathroom beside you; this was stressful for me because I like some kind of privacy, especially if you book a private room. I guess that’s pretty well that everything else was fantastic..

Great stay in a clean and quiet room outside the busiest areas of the center
We spent two nights at Tambo del Solar: clean property, a few steps from the main square of Arequipa on a safe and calm street, friendly staff. We recommend the double room which is more spacious and has a balcony

Excellent value
Brilliant little hotel in the heart of Arequipa but also just off the beaten track in a beautiful old cobbled street. Incredible value, lovely rooms and amazing views of the volcanos. Would highly recommend for a cheap but very comfortable stay.

Enjoyed my morning views of Misti!
Great location just off the Plaza and walking distance to Central, Arequipa. Looked like photos and matched the description. Comfortable bed and friendly staff. Great view of Misti Volcano if you have a room with a balcony.

- • Difficult communication with the hotel, they did not respect the booking reservation and asked for an advance payment, but only with national means! They should enable card reservations from the website for foreigners.

- • everything is fine but maybe warn beforehand that if you arrive after 10 pm you need to have the key to the access gate to the passage
