Hotel building is aged but staff did great job keeping it clean but next blocks sewers smell awful. A bit of language barrier but figured things out for what we needed. Great breakfast items served daily. The thin young man with glasses at front desk was great, speaking English well and friendly absolutely adding extra comfort. Highly recommended.

Very good stay, close to the train station, but noticed the amenities like towels are somewhat old, probably overused?

The property is very ideal for tourists looking to explore outside of Taipei. It is near the train and bus stations. The buffet breakfast is very good. Downside is whenever we go back to our room after a tiring day, the room smells like smoke or cigarette. Not sure where it is coming from since we are in a non-smoking room.
