Enchanted
I loved the staff, ALL very polite, helpful, and very attentive... The view from my room was simply WON-DER-FUL... The shower is perfeeeect... But I want to mention a simple detail that completely won my ❤️: I have long nails and I needed a nail file because one started to break. And in the bathroom drawer, there was a beauty kit with a nail file 🤌🏽✨️ guys, I was enchanted by this care. Thank you very much for this detail that shows exactly how much you think about our well-being during the entire stay. Thank you!

- • The hallway carpet has a somewhat strong smell 😬 but it's just a minor detail and doesn't interfere with the perfection that is everything else.
WON-DER-FUL VIEW OF SUGARLOAF!
The location is great. The staff is excellent. The breakfast is wonderful. Bed, pillows, and shower are also wonderful. The view from the room (which faced Sugarloaf) and the Rooftop view are a spectacle in themselves - BEAUTIFUL. The food at the Rooftop is also wonderful. A highlight for the Linguini with shrimp and the Calabrese Pizza with caramelized onion and Margherita. The Rooftop staff are also very kind, polite, and excel in drinks and food. Special mention to the AO PONTAL drink, very tasty and refreshing. LOVED THE STAY.

- • I didn't like the yellowish room lighting, as it only has 2 lamps next to the bed, a bedside lamp near the window, and a lamp above the TV panel. The room doesn't have a white light on the ceiling, in case we want the room brighter to dress or look for things in the suitcase. The bathroom also only has yellow light, which hinders perfect makeup. Although it has a LED mirror, it doesn't help much with makeup, as it enlarges the face too much. Apart from the lighting, the rest of the stay was perfect.

A very nice hotel right on Botafogo beach, looking up to Sugarloaf mountain. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were friendly and kind. Room was clean and comfortable

- • The room was made out as a twin when we arrived despite having requested a double, and it could have been slightly better equipped. We didn't have a bedside table each, for example, and there were no tea or coffee facilities.
Good hotel, but room below expectations
All the staff are excellent, very polite and helpful! The Rooftop is also a very comfortable area for socializing and the lobby is cozy.

- • I understand that rooms with different prices have certain different services or elements. However, even the simplest room in the hotel does not have a very affordable rate, so it was expected that all accommodations would be checked before being delivered to customers. In the room we stayed in, the air conditioning barely worked, even when set to cool and lowering the temperature. The bathroom would flood when taking a shower, something we only did after returning from the event we attended, so we only noticed many hours after check-in. Overall, it is a good hotel, but for the price of the room, a little more care in the accommodations was expected.
Very friendly waiter (Romero?), gave us great tips
