The room I was assigned was so dirty that I had to tell reception who sent a cleaning lady in. Total lack of attention to basics necessities and details. The hand soap dispenser was empty, the bath panel had traces of dirt that were reminiscent of blood stains. The microwave was filthy inside and out (the door & handle). There were some food splashes on the wall, the dishes were not clean. The fridge door and shelves were dirty and crooked (hinges damaged). On the plus side: the room was spacious, bright and airy with large windows and adjustable shutters. The large bed was comfortable.

Not as expected
The room was much older looking than the pictures. I did get a lovely view of the garden. But, the walls were full of marks. The bathroom seemed clean as well as the bedsheets but there was mold growing on the grout around the shower. The drawers in the bathroom were broken and hard to open. The small kitchen area was inside a closet which doors were hard to open and were dragging along the floor.

Stay in Marseille
Very well located for events close to the velodrome!!! Only downside is no daily cleaning and restocking of toilet paper for example and not a very cool smell when opening the kitchen area!!! Other than that, it's good.
