The rooms are too expensive for what they are. Tiny and very uncomfortable. We booked 2 nights, but only stayed for the first night. We moved to another hotel for the second night (Hotel Casa Real) only $30 extra per night and it was impressively beautiful. Can't even compare them. I would not stay at La Roca again.

This is a super charming hotel. The courtyards are delightful. The staff is very friendly and the location is perfect.

Booked two nights. On the first evening we left this place and didn’t stay. Had to go and find another hotel due to cockroaches in our room. Can’t imagine what it would have been like when the lights went off. Good looking colonial place but cockroaches mean filth and uncleanliness. Totally unacceptable. Would never stay here.

Good value for money
Right on the square close to restaurants and shops. Nice staff, breakfast fine, hot water in the shower. Good value for money. Would stay again.

The structure is over 400 years old and has been renovated nicely. My room was small but adequate, lots of hot water. The breakfast was outstanding. The staff was very helpful. The only drawback was that none of the TV channels were in English.

Nice location right on the main square and easy walking distance from restaurants and local historical sights. Quiet, with all rooms having windows opening onto the inner courtyard and garden. WiFi a little spotty and practically nonexistent in rooms further from the main lobby area. Very nice and helpful staff.

Great Location. Old but fairly well-maintained hotel. Very good breakfast and nicely decorated courtyard. Clean but basic room and bathroom.
