Small charming hotel very carefully decorated, we loved its style, the patio with the central staircase serving the rooms all around the building as well as the room decoration. The staff was very friendly and responsive to our requests which I will talk about below. The breakfast is worth it, it was very good and plentiful. Also, the proximity to the palaces of Sintra and the beach resort of Praia das Maçãs.

- • Unfortunately, as soon as we entered the room, we noticed major humidity problems: blistered walls (paint and plaster peeling off) + a very strong and unpleasant musty smell. Wanting to take a shower, we found that the water was brown, we informed the reception who told us to let the water run as the room had not been used for a long time. Indeed, after about 30 minutes, the water became clear. The cleanliness of the room was also very disappointing, a lot of dust and lint on the floor. This lack of maintenance is not worthy of a 3* hotel and is not in line with the price paid for this hotel night.

Beautiful quiet location with parking, outdoor terrace, large common area for playing cards, etc.

The most friendly staff I have ever met. Thank you for your warm welcome and your kindness during my stay. My flight was delayed and they kindly waited for me to arrive after the check-in hours. They upgraded me to a better room.

- • The rooms are a little bit worn out, but for its price and for someone who is not staying in the room, just sleeping and taking a shower there - it's fine.
