Poor sound insulation, I thought the bicycles were available for borrowing, but turns out there's a rental fee. It's suggested to install lights, otherwise borrowing is not allowed after 6 PM. Originally planned to borrow for the night market, ended up having to drive there. Parking was difficult to find, quite troublesome, a pity considering the geographical advantage next to the night market.
There are many additional facilities, good value for money, and a parking lot available.

- • The game area downstairs can be used until 11 PM, but saw cleaning staff cleaning around 9 PM. Maybe they didn't want others to use it after cleaning, so they turned off all the lights inside. When children turned on the lights to play, the staff came to drive them away unhappily. I think this is an additional privilege for residents, and it's not right to restrict what can or cannot be done just because they want to finish work early...

- • Check-in date: 8/7/2026 The overall experience of staying at the Kenting Resort Hotel this time was really disappointing, especially in terms of 'air conditioning issues' and 'pet-friendly' aspects, which made our whole family almost unable to sleep well and completely unable to feel the pet-friendly environment as advertised by the hotel. On the day we checked in, the underground parking lot was full, so we had to park in the open-air parking lot. Although the open-air parking lot was spacious, it had no rain cover, and the car was extremely hot after being exposed to the sun all day in summer. While this part can be understood, what was really unacceptable was the indoor environment of the hotel. We stayed on the 12th floor (the top floor for guests), and when the elevator door opened, instead of air conditioning, hot air rushed out. The lighting on the entire floor was dim, and there was hardly any air conditioning in the public areas. Upon entering the room, we immediately turned on the air conditioning, adjusting the temperature from 29°C down, blowing for almost half an hour, the room still remained at 29°C, never cooling down, just blowing air. Just going to the bathroom, family members came out sweating all over, constantly complaining that the air conditioning was not working at all. We also brought a French Bulldog, which is very sensitive to heat. When we touched its body, we could clearly feel its temperature rising, very worried that it might suffer from heatstroke. We asked the front desk to at least provide a fan to enhance indoor circulation. The room service took us to see another room (a four-person room), and we even asked if there was an additional charge, to which the room service replied 'not sure,' saying that the front desk asked him to show us first. What was even more frustrating was that the air conditioning in the other room was also completely ineffective, just blowing air, so we had to give up on changing rooms. Room service provided a fan, but the room's electrical outlet configuration was also very strange. The fan and electric water heater could only be used one at a time. If you didn't bring an extension cord, you had to keep unplugging and plugging in. That night, our whole family almost couldn't sleep well, waking up from the heat, even the dog. The next day's breakfast was buffet-style. On the first day, we brought the French Bulldog into the restaurant in a fully enclosed pet stroller. The dog was quiet throughout, not barking or restless, not bothering anyone. The service staff even thought it was a baby in the stroller at first, so they didn't realize it was a dog. However, on the second day at breakfast, the same approach was refused entry to the restaurant and we were asked to leave the dog outside. I was really puzzled because before check-in, the hotel asked us to sign a pet agreement, but the agreement did not specify that 'pets are not allowed in the breakfast restaurant.' The agreement mentioned using a stroller when entering facilities or the underground play area, which we fully complied with, and the dog did not disturb any guests. What was even more baffling was that there were two other groups with dogs on-site that day, and they were also asked to sit in the lobby outside the restaurant. In that case, where exactly is the 'pet-friendly' aspect? If pets are not allowed in the breakfast restaurant, it should be clearly stated in the pet agreement, rather than informing us last minute after check-in. In addition, the air circulation in the underground play area was also very poor, the entire space was stuffy, without air conditioning, and our whole family couldn't stand it for more than a few minutes and had to leave immediately. In conclusion, if you plan to stay at this hotel in the summer, I really suggest you think twice. There is no air conditioning in public areas, the room air conditioning is almost ineffective, so hot that even going to the bathroom or having breakfast will make you sweat all over. If you are traveling with pets, you need to be especially careful because the 'pet-friendly' here is very different from what most people understand as pet-friendly. We were really looking forward to this trip, and it was because we saw that the hotel was advertised as pet-friendly that we chose to stay, but the final experience was really disappointing. We won't visit again, and we don't recommend it to summer travelers or those traveling with pets.
