Small room at a great location and price that could have been cleaner
Very close to Istiklal, one of the most iconic streets in Istanbul! Great location, very central, with a lot of restaurants and bars nearby, but the street was quiet enough for us not to hear any noise during the night. The receptionists were also pretty nice.

- • The room is small, but it's worth the price. I felt that the room could have been cleaner, especially the sheets. Also, please don't list that you offer shampoo and body wash when all you had was mixed with water, so bad we could not even use it to wash our hands. You have to ask for the AC remote at the reception; it will otherwise not be given to you.
Clean and safe accommodation near Taksim Square
I have stayed at Mint Residence several times. The location is ideal. 2 minutes walk to the shopping street Istiklal Caddesi, a good 5 minutes to Taksim Metro station, which provides connections to all parts of Istanbul. The rooms and the hotel, in general, have a 70s charm, so they are not modernly furnished, but they are very clean and perfect for a city trip. The day receptionist Eljan speaks very good English, and the night receptionist Serkan immediately helps with any concerns, whether it's sightseeing, hamam/massages, restaurant tips, or airport taxis, etc. I felt very well taken care of there, as always, and would stay there again at any time. I can only recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a safe and relatively inexpensive stay near Taksim Square, especially for solo female travelers.
