A bitter feeling
Beautiful location! An overwhelming feeling when you enter Mandapa. The rooms are beautiful and the staff is extremely friendly! The food is also delicious!

- • However, there are a few downsides: in the afternoon, we wanted to relax by the pool but unfortunately, there were too few sunbeds. There is a beautiful spa, but we had to adjust our entire schedule because there is very limited availability, while everything is not really cheap. The fine dining restaurant is the same, upon arrival we wanted to book the restaurant immediately but there was no availability any evening during our stay, really unfortunate. We had paid for the hotel in advance when booking, and after the first day, they came to say we had to pay again, that they had not received the money. Luckily, we had proof of payment, and it was eventually sorted out. We left with a bitter feeling. We had checked out of our room but were allowed to continue using the facilities until our departure, which is customary in other hotels as well, but when we came from the pool at check out, I asked where I could change because I was in my beach dress, he escorted me with my suitcase to the toilet of the nearest restaurant and I had to change in the toilets! This was such a letdown! Normally, a space with a shower is provided but here NOTHING! I have never experienced having to change in a small toilet and you certainly do not expect this from such a hotel after paying thousands of euros.

One of the most beautiful hotels I have ever been to!
Rice fields, a river, jungle all around... The hotel complex is an absolute dream and for me one of the most beautiful and special places I have ever been to. The service is excellent!! The food in all three restaurants is excellent (vegan is easy everywhere)!! Fine Dining at Kubu was the perfect ending on my last evening at Mandapa. I highly recommend the wild water rafting tour, the landscape around the river is fantastic. The photo shoot in the hotel complex was perfect and the photos turned out beautifully. Many thanks to my Butler-Fee Sugi, to my guide Boy, to Ryan for the superb photo shoot, to Febri for the excellent service, and simply THANK YOU to the entire Mandapa team.
