Exceptional stay at casa del maya 10/10
Excellent facilities, super relaxing after a day visiting or walking around. Very refreshing to jump in the pool which is always super clean. Staff is absolutely adorable and have great recommendations on what to do around. Delicious breakfast, everything you need. You can also park in the street in front of the casa, very safe and free.

Gorgeous gardens, amazing staff
Property was 10-15 minute walk from historic center. Quiet, residential neighborhood. 15/20 minute taxi from airport. Grounds were stunning and pool (that stayed cool) was a life savor in the hot weather. Aaron and his staff were amazing- breakfast of eggs, fruit, coffee/juices, and sweet in the morning. Manager Aaron was so kind and took the time to chat with us every day. He went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Would absolutely return.

It was a rejuvenating week in a quiet oasis of a B&B with friendly, helpful people.
Friendly, helpful staff that went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. Delicious and nutritious breakfasts and also very accommodating to vegetarians and vegans. Lovely room with trees and birds outside that made it feel very park-like. It was always a quiet oasis to come back to after sightseeing in the heat. Excellent place!

A decent stay with a good breakfast, but there are several areas that could be improved to better match expectations.
The breakfast was simple but tasty and enjoyable. We also liked the nicely designed sink in the bathroom.

- • Although the location is close to the center, the property is situated on a quieter side street, which at times felt a bit uncomfortable, especially in the evening. The main issue for us was the presence of mosquitoes in the room, as we experienced bites during the night. We also noticed a gecko on the ceiling. While we understand this can happen in warmer climates, it still affected our comfort. We were given a key to the main entrance, but there was no staff present at night, and during the day it was difficult to find anybody, which made us feel less secure than expected. Additionally, the photos on Booking.com present the property in a way that feels more upscale than the actual experience. In our opinion, it does not meet typical 4-star expectations.
