Superb Resort and Team
We were at the Viceroy in Cabo for a wedding and couldn’t be more pleased with the atmosphere and service. From the minute we arrived we were awestruck by the beauty of the resort and the welcoming atmosphere. Mariana & Victoria were our Butler team and they were superb. They were attentive to every detail and ensured we were having the best time and that all details for the wedding were perfect. We highly recommend this location and Mariana & Victoria. We will definitely go back.

5-Star Experience at Viceroy
We just got back from a mother-daughter trip to the Viceroy Cabo for my birthday, and it was one of the best trips we’ve ever taken. Since I own an apparel design firm that works with 5-star hotels, my standards for luxury service and amenities are extremely high, but the Viceroy completely blew me away. The modern architecture of the hotel is stunning, and our spacious 1-bedroom ocean-view suite was just gorgeous. Our butlers, Jacob and Victor, were absolute rockstars. They handled everything from our airport transfers to spa bookings and dinner reservations before we even arrived, they nailed every single detail. When we walked into our room, Jacob had it decked out with birthday balloons and treats, which was such a wonderful touch. We were constantly texting them with last-minute requests and changes throughout the trip, and this "dynamic duo" was on it every single time. We probably sent over 100 texts, and they responded to every single one within minutes. They really made us feel like VIP guests. The rest of the team was just as incredible. Fernanda, the restaurant manager, worked from morning to night at Casero, Awacate, and Cielomar, always making sure we had a memorable dining experience. Mark at Nido was so personable and gave us an omakase recommendation that actually rivaled our experience at Mandarin Oriental and Ritz Carlton in Tokyo. Gabriel at Nidito always make sure our shaded daybed was ready and our food and drinks always timely. Ana and Scarlett provided exceptional facial and massages, and the spa “grotto” design is simply relaxing and stunning. Emilio, the manager on duty, even helped us secure another suite during a brief power outage. The whole staff just works together so seamlessly. Whether we were grabbing breakfast at Casero, relaxing on the beach at Nidito, or enjoying dinner with those incredible views at Nido and Cielomar, we felt so taken care of. The food everywhere was top-tier. Cabo has no shortage of luxury resorts, but the Viceroy is on another level because of the staff. My daughter and I left with so many great memories, and we’re already planning to come back with the rest of the family—as long as we can have Jacob and Victor taking care of us again! 😊

An Amazing Family Stay at Viceroy Los Cabos
My wife, our daughter, our son, and I stayed at Viceroy Los Cabos from July 21 through July 25 in Villa 12. We were celebrating our 26th wedding anniversary and our daughter’s 23rd birthday, and the resort helped make both occasions incredibly special. The weather was absolutely gorgeous, although very hot, and the resort itself was beautiful. One of the things we enjoyed most was that it felt intimate enough to become familiar with the staff throughout our stay. By the end of the trip, the breakfast, lunch, and dinner teams knew who we were, remembered our preferences, and often had our favorite table available. A huge thank-you to Victor and Jacob, our butler team. They went above and beyond throughout our stay. For our anniversary, they arranged sparkling wine, chocolate-covered strawberries, and chocolate truffles. For our daughter’s birthday, they coordinated a beautifully decorated room filled with balloons and flowers, along with two cake tarts. Their attention to detail helped make both celebrations truly memorable. Victor and Jacob also arranged a private tequila tasting for our family with Hector, the bar manager, and Mikey. It was educational, entertaining, and one of the highlights of our trip. We learned a lot, had plenty of laughs, and would highly recommend the experience. We stayed on the Deluxe All-Inclusive Meal Plan, and it was fabulous. This option does not seem to be widely promoted, but it is absolutely worth considering, particularly for a family or group. We appreciated being able to pay in advance and know the total cost of our meals and drinks before the trip. It also made the experience much more relaxing. We could enjoy bottled water, specialty coffees, cocktails, meals, snacks, and poolside service throughout the day without thinking about the accumulating cost each time we ordered. At the end of each meal, the check showed what the food and drinks would normally have cost, followed by a zero balance aside from gratuity. For us, the convenience, flexibility, and predictability made the plan well worth it. The food quality throughout the resort was very good. The rooftop restaurant was excellent, and the presentation of the New York strip was especially impressive. We also loved the tuna tartare, oysters, artichoke cheese bread, and truffle pizza. Breakfast was another highlight. The eggs Benedict were among the best I have had at a resort, although the crab cake version was not personally my favorite. The avocado toast, açaí bowls, omelets, fruit with yogurt, and hot and iced coffees were all delicious. The Japanese restaurant had an incredible atmosphere, and the omakase experience was wonderful. The food quality was exceptional, and we enjoyed hearing the story and inspiration behind each dish. The staff made the entire evening feel special. The pool experience was also excellent. Most days, the pools felt surprisingly quiet and uncrowded. One tip is to visit the rooftop pool for beautiful views, comfortable seating areas, and excellent photo opportunities. Bring a few drinks with you and enjoy the scenery. Another tip is to try to secure the four chairs near the upper pool area. It almost feels like having your own private section and pool. The servers were fantastic and checked on us frequently, bringing buckets of iced water, beer, Aperol spritzes, Hugo spritzes, and lunch directly to our chairs. Special recognition should also go to Jesus and Luis, who made our family feel especially welcome during meals. Abraham, the bartender at the rooftop restaurant, and Luis, the manager, were also terrific. Throughout the resort, the staff and servers genuinely seemed committed to making our experience exceptional. We also enjoyed two hydrotherapy sessions at the spa, followed by 60-minute massages. Everything was top-notch. Alberto guided our entire family through the hydrotherapy experience and was amazing. He was extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and passionate about his work. He thoughtfully prepared towels, cucumbers for our eyes, cool cloths, rosemary scrubs, and several different drinks throughout the experience. The massages were among the best resort massages we have ever received. There are a few areas of the property that feel dated and could use updating. We were told that the resort would be temporarily closing shortly after our visit to complete some needed renovations, which should make an already beautiful property even better. During our stay, we also visited Acre off property. The landscaping and atmosphere there are truly special. We loved the craft cocktails and creative food options. It is definitely a destination for anyone who enjoys unique dining experiences. Overall, this was an amazing family trip filled with wonderful memories. What truly sets Viceroy Los Cabos apart is the quality of the accommodations for families and groups, the food and drink offerings, and, most importantly, the exceptional service. We thoroughly enjoyed the Viceroy experience and now have our eyes set on visiting the Viceroy in St. Lucia.

Great location. Love the atmosphere. Our room was beautiful with a great view. Our Butlers/Hosts Jennifer & Alexis were attentive to our needs, very accessible and personable. They were thoughtful and made my husband feel special & recognized for his birthday. The dining staff was extremely friendly and caring, especially at making sure all my selected meals were indeed dairy free.

The best experience in the penthouse!!
My girlfriend and I had The best experience at the Viceroy. We stayed at one of the penthouses and Mariana and Victoria were AMAZING!! They were super fast to take care of all of our needs and truly went above and beyond to make our stay flawless!!

Amazing anniversary
We went to celebrate our anniversary and Viceroy exceeded our expectations. From the amazing suite with the breathtaking ocean view to the zero edge swimming pools, exceptional gym and modern looking architecture making you feel the place is fully floating over water. And above all the amazing friendly services, servers by the pool and especially the private butlers assigned to us from the moment we arrived, Mariana and Victoria, who went above and beyond to ensure all our questions, needs, reservations and a surprise anniversary gift was given to us. We will be back soon.

Obsessed!
This was one of the best properties I’ve ever stayed at. The layout was gorgeous, the room was pristine with an unbelievable view, and the staff were so accommodating and so friendly. Victor and Jacob made my stay seamless from the start. When we met at check in I was given their numbers so we could communicate via WhatsApp. They helped me via booking taxis, arranging housekeeping, dinner reservations, and I’m sure anything else I would’ve asked for they would have assisted me. Their responses were prompt and it was so nice to feel so taken care of. Especially being a solo traveler, this gave me peace of mind that I had some trusted people to help me with whatever I needed. The location is perfect, in San Jose del Cabo away from the crazy party scene in San Lucas. The spa … unreal. I entered another universe there. It was the ultimate relaxation and the massage from Jesus was exactly what I needed. I was lucky when I arrived there weren’t many people in the spa so I enjoyed silence and peace, when I was leaving the spa it was more crowded so the noise level was higher than I would have wanted. The vibes of the hotel overall were incredible. Everything is so aesthetically pleasing and so clean as well. The property is very well kept. And the food at Cielomar was delicious.. best steak I’ve had in a while.. get the chimichurri sauce with it! And the ocean view room with a plunge pool on the balcony .. enjoying a bath, with epsom salts that they provided, at night listening to the waves was just incredible. Overall one of my favorite trips of my life! And big shout out to the concierge team who helped me arrange my private airport transfers, my spa services, and multiple excursions, including a super fun horseback riding experience on the beach! This is an excellent spot for solo travelers, friend group trips, or romantic getaways. Must visit!

Great stay with the family
Very pleasant stay with the family. The gym was very well equipped, staff were attentive and kind, we went to the Spa and the attention of Scarlett and Juan were the best. We had a very nice time there.
