A marvellous welcome to New Zealand.
The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. The warmth and wisdom of our hostess was very special. She helped us organise our limited time in Rotorua perfectly. Breakfast was great.

- • The living room where we eat breakfast needs better lighting, say a standard lamp so that we could read at night.

Redwoods B and B is conveniently located both a healthy walk into town, as well as to the beautiful and unique Redwoods. Vivien the owner is a model of hospitality, whose knowledge of the area and customization of our experience was the best. She was a great destination ambassador, so you're investing in more than just a place to sleep, our stay here was curated to our interests. Meeting with other guests from other countries - sharing meals and a very comfortable common space was one of the best parts of the experience here. This hospitality doesn't come naturally to all, but Vivien is the best!

Redwood hideaway.
Comfy room with a lovely garden outlook. Very quiet spot. Very close to Redwood forest which is a beautiful place to explore. Good breaky. Vivien is very helpful with where to go and what to see in Rotarua. Be aware thet there are 3 rooms to rent and all guests have breaky together. This can be a good oppertunity to share experiences.

What a beautiful place to stay and our host Vivien was so welcoming, friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was yummy 😋 . Also so close to Redwoods Treewalk & Glowworms. Stunning at night.

The expectations were unfortunately not met.
The location near the Redwoods Treewalk Rotorua was very good. Depending on the room type (e.g. the double room) you can hear the street noise quite clearly.

- • The smell in the individual rooms was musty and unpleasant. The curtains showed signs of mold and the rooms need a renovation. Unfortunately, the individual rooms were not particularly clean.
Very helpful reception by Vivien. Due to the weather conditions and road closures, she immediately called the hosts of our next accommodation and clarified the best way to arrive. The room is perfect with a small terrace and access to the garden. Also at breakfast, there were many information and assistance. You felt like visiting friends!
