Vivian was exceptionally friendly and considerate of each guest. The facilities were warm and very clean, and felt private. Parking and finding the location was no issue. Our primary need was for a safe and affordable location to stay at with our toddler and this exceeded our expectations.

Excellent location, close to Redwood forest in quiet, safe street. Lovely shared lounge/dining area with breakfast service. Vivian, the host, is very friendly and helpful. Room was very neat and tidy with full private ensuite.

Redwoods B and B is conveniently located both a healthy walk into town, as well as to the beautiful and unique Redwoods. Vivien the owner is a model of hospitality, whose knowledge of the area and customization of our experience was the best. She was a great destination ambassador, so you're investing in more than just a place to sleep, our stay here was curated to our interests. Meeting with other guests from other countries - sharing meals and a very comfortable common space was one of the best parts of the experience here. This hospitality doesn't come naturally to all, but Vivien is the best!

A marvellous welcome to New Zealand.
The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. The warmth and wisdom of our hostess was very special. She helped us organise our limited time in Rotorua perfectly. Breakfast was great.

- • The living room where we eat breakfast needs better lighting, say a standard lamp so that we could read at night.
Redwood hideaway.
Comfy room with a lovely garden outlook. Very quiet spot. Very close to Redwood forest which is a beautiful place to explore. Good brekkie. Vivien is very helpful with where to go and what to see in Rotorua. Be aware that there are 3 rooms to rent and all guests have brekkie together. This can be a good opportunity to share experiences.
