Expensive in relation to what it offers

Enchanting location, the resort is well integrated respecting nature. The cost is too high in relation to the services offered, disappointing breakfast - croissants were available only once in 4 days, on the last day of my stay, white wine and clams that were on the menu were finished.

Wonderful location and good service. Such a kind and helpful staff. Minor points: bed is too short and too soft. Price is too high for what you get. They are eco-minded although the rooms are not insulated at all. In my opinion, insulating the rooms would make a major difference, way more than not using straws or plastic bottles.

Nice All-inclusive Resort.

We have no regrets staying at the Alunan Resort. The food was fantastic and a la carte. Usually, All-inclusive is buffet service. The Staff were extremely friendly and hated to say goodbye. The excursions were amazing, Snorkeling and Sunset Cruising our favorites. Our only caution is you must consider the stairs. There are a lot of them. Would definitely return.

Gorgeous Perhentian, accommodation a bit run-down in common areas. Beautiful spacious rooms with all comforts. High price.

All the staff were very kind and helpful. They also have a Coral Friendly project to grow corals, which was very educational. The room had no smell from the air conditioning, the shower had hot water, and the room was reasonably clean. There were no slippers. The Coral Friendly shampoo & body wash smelled very nice but made the hair stiff. It was all-inclusive, so we joined all the tours, but the snorkeling scheduled for 10 am was canceled at 9:30 am due to strong winds, which was very disappointing. We were fully prepared and at the pier when they told us it was canceled, causing a big shock. They should have informed us earlier. Moreover, the waves were not that strong. We could join the afternoon tour and had the best snorkeling experience and even saw turtles, so we were very satisfied. Since it's on top of a cliff, all movements involve stairs, and going back to the top room from the tours, restaurants, beach, or pool was very tough. I had muscle pain for 3 days. The food selection was limited but delicious. The drinks were plentiful. The sea was very beautiful, but there was still a lot of trash. The beach seemed to be cleaned daily. Thank you for a fun and amazing vacation.

It was great. It’s a lovely place. Everyone is very kind. We loved the excursions they planned for us.

Beautiful hotel in the middle of nature, friendly and efficient staff, very well-organized excursions, they give you the option to hire all-inclusive for individual days, we took it for only one day and it was spectacular because it included morning, afternoon, and sunset excursions. Rooms with dreamy views.

Very kind staff, excellent organization for all excursions in this paradise, food of excellent quality. Highly recommended!
