The Studio was very basic, no coffee maker, not even a kettle, there were zero amenities. 2 glasses for 3 people. It was odd.

Adjustment
Very friendly and good service. we got a separate apartment (separate from the main building). we had booked a room with 2 twin beds and a queen bed, but got queen bed with sofa bed (that spit and slept 2). this was not adequate for 2 adult kids, so manager gave us the 3rd floor room in the main bldg which was better. however, for 3/4 tall people there was not enough head room. otherwise, all was pleasant. breakfast pretty good. location excellent.

Spacious
The hotel itself is nice. In an older building but in good condition. We found the staff friendly and willing to offer advice. The downside is there is no dedicated parking. We had to find parking on a nearby side street which was not optimal. Also the hotel is not within easy walking distance so an uber will probably be necessary

Great location and more!
My room was very clean and comfortable and had everything I needed. I particularly liked the breakfast room and the breakfast they had which was about €10 and very much worth it. The breakfast room is sunny and has a view that is so lovely. The neighborhood is great and very close to the university. I thought the staff was very nice and accommodating. They were good hosts.

Coimbra
Place was very nice. The only problem is the stairs. There is no elevator. Also it is on a hilly road. That was difficult to walk. We had to take Uber everywhere because of those hilly roads.
