It was OK for the night.
Quiet in the hallways. It felt like pub accommodation. No noise from downstairs.

- • Too much street lighting, room needs proper black out curtains. Street noise a little annoying, double glazing would be good for rooms with windows onto the street. Maybe a small desk and chair. More clothing hooks, if no cupboards.
It cost me $115 all up for one night, and that’s with my Booking.com discount and includes $10 overnight parking fee next
Location location - right opposite Central Market and a few meters from Chinatown. There’s an overnight car park a few doors down for a flat fee of $10 per night. Live music. Friendly staff.

- • No ensuite. Bunk beds with shared toilet and shower down the corridor. A dirty pull string to turn on the light by the door. No hooks, nowhere to put clothes or hang anything apart from a nail in the back of the door. For the same price - around $100 - you can stay at the Adabco a few 100m away which is a luxury hotel in comparison.
I will be back!
Great value for money and central to everything I needed. Markets, bus depot, and city walks. Also good Australian feeling of the pub atmosphere and meals.

Will be back time and again.
Perfect location near the main bus terminal and Markets for meals. Walk across the road to the markets and eat like a king then walk to the bus depot.

The staff were very accommodating with our inquiries. There was a large time frame put on meal service due to the significant number of customers. I asked if we went back to our room, and they could ring me to come downstairs to get our meals when ready which they were more than happy to do. The little things make all the difference to your experience.

- • I unfortunately didn't read the description very well as I thought we had an ensuite. My son has a disability and this would have made our stay more secure for him. He was fretful of going to the bathroom and toilet on his own and encountering strangers.
