Snorkeling at Cielo
The snorkeling excursion was great. Staff was friendly and very helpful. They provided snacks and drinks and the stop at the sandbar was super cool. We saw a turtle stingray barracuda and a variety of other fish.

Amazing staff Beautiful location!
The Explorean and their staff are incredible! This is our 4th trip with our two kids (9 and 5 this year) and we absolutely love it. Jassiel, Nestor, Ariel, Edgar, Miguel, Jonny, Alejandra, Jason, Gabriel and all the staff are helpful, so kind to our kids, always wear a smile and make us feel so welcome. The excursions are fun and the staff make it easy and enjoyable for all age and abilities. Our favorite is el cielo boat ride with Jassiel and Nestor! The staff are quick and responsive when we have needed extras like a kids bed. The rooms are spacious and comfortable full of amenities. The breakfast basket left at the front of our door every morning is a perfect way to start our days. We will be returning for sure!!

Great vacation
Overall perfect days and great experience with Alex and team! The El Cielo boat excursion was fabulous. We saw a shark, lots of sting rays, barracuda, and lots of other tropical fish. The hotel was peaceful and relaxing, food was delicious, and staff were friendly. No hesitation in recommending :)

Absolutely amazing
Jassiel and Ariel were fantastic for the El Cielo trip! What a day!! We say a shark, sea turtle, lionfish and so much more. They were so helpful identifying sea life along the way and also shedding light on the beauty of the Mexican reefs. Wonderful day!

Beautiful location and friendly staff
The Explorean is the best of all worlds. Quiet, secluded jungle location but close to the beach and entertainment/dining options of the larger Fiesta Americana; lots of great excursion options but also a beautiful pool/open air lobby where you can relax all day; and minimal distracting amenities (TV, etc.) but comfortable, modern rooms. The high point is definitely the people, though. Rubi at the front desk is a true stand-out, the epitome of hospitality. Jassiel, Vega and Armando made the tours seamless and fun, and Claudia, Edwin and Jesus (Lol K'aan), Manuel (Italian restaurant), and Alejandra (buffet) were welcoming and helpful. The boat tour, buggy tour (first 3 hours, anyway), and cenote bike trip were our favourites, and the circus show at Fiesta Americana was surprisingly impressive.

Explorean Cozumel excursiond
Explorean of fiesta Americana in Cozumel had the best excursions included. The boat trip to snorkeling with Jassiel and Ariel was incredible .we also did included other excursions: bike rides, other snorkeling - all well planned and very well organized

We love the Explorean. Some of the staff remembers us from year to year. (Daniel in the restaurant). Juan Carlos Gonzalez was very helpful and responsive when we needed anything. We love the vibe and the service. We love the coffee delivered to the rooms in the morning. We just keep coming back.

The best guides and tours!
El cielo (the boat tour) and the bike excursion was AMAZING! Highly recommend for families because Arturo, Ariel and Vago are fantastic! The boat tour was soooooo amazing. You will miss you if you don’t go. We have 9 and 6 year old boys and they really made them feel comfortable!!! Give Arturo and Ariel a raise! ☀️👏
