Hotel service is bad. Staff is unfriendly.
The price is cheap. Since the distance to tourist attractions is good, this hotel is at a cheap price level. The breakfast is also at a budget hotel level.

- • The refrigerator is not cool enough. When inquired at the front desk on the 1st floor, they said that our hotel is originally like that, and when asked for ice, they said our hotel does not provide that... Very unfriendly, facilities are old, and they wanted to take a picture at check-in. When asked why they need a picture, they said it's their police directive (even though I have been on many business trips and vacations in China, it was the first time I encountered a hotel that takes a picture).
The very courteous staff. The location is within walking distance to Russian Street, the train station, and the metro.

Comfortable stay in a very nice hotel for a reasonable price.
Not sure if there was some problem with the booking through Booking.com but to their credit they upgraded us to a much bigger, better room. Nevertheless, it was good value for money in a very nice hotel. Location is good, close to the Dalian Train station.

Would stay at this hotel again on the next trip to Dalian.
The breakfast was outstanding, the room facilities were functional but still comfortable and cozy. The service was fantastic.
