The location of the hotel is great. Food and service as well. The rooms are a bit dated and quite expensive for that. But one probably pays more for the view and location of the hotel here.

Breathtaking view but poor service

The view and the pool are amazing. The food is delicious. However, the service is terrible. Waiters, receptionists, and the barman are very nice but not efficient at all. We had to wait 30 minutes for our drinks by the pool, 30 minutes for our wine bottle, and 45 minutes for our first dish at the restaurant. There was no lotion in the room, and after waiting for 45 minutes, it never arrived. We had to bring our luggage downstairs ourselves because the reception didn’t send the butler on time.

This was the perfect location to stay for a retreat and also for a day trip into Cinque Terre. We won’t get over being driven in a cart to and from the parking lot down a charming rock wall-lined street. It’s the most magical entry to a hotel we’ve ever experienced. Their customer service is exceptional, going above and beyond in every way. We were greeted with a welcome drink and given complimentary DELICIOUS snacks by the pool. The view at breakfast was the best we experienced in all of Italy. Looking into the Ligurian sea was beautiful. The spa was wonderful and available to us to use privately for an hour when it was not in use. What a treat! Sauna, steam room relaxation areas with a freshly prepared treat made by the chef waiting for us. Two nights were not enough to enjoy this beautiful property! Laura gave us recommendations on how to enjoy Cinque Terre and local restaurants, plus graciously answered any of our questions. We loved meeting her!

God’s grace

We had the unfortunate experience of having all our luggage stolen, our money stolen, and our rental car broken into. Directly following that experience we arrived at your hotel at 2:30 am in the morning. The staff went above and beyond to provide a lovely meal for us, drinks, essentials such as a toothbrush, toothpaste, and even facial products. The next day they did their best to close up the broken window of our car all by their own volition. The hotel, food, and service plus the incredible view couldn’t be better. Thank you so much for restoring our trust in Italy and thereby allowing us the opportunity to stay and enjoy the country.

The staff was extremely kind and helpful with planning dinners around the area. The included spa was a nice touch. Loved the panoramic sauna.

Great view!

Nice hotel overall, breathtaking view! Beautiful room, comfortable bed, bathroom needs an upgrade (tiny shower, 1990s hairdryer). As for the food, it was impeccable. A la carte dinner with a view was one of the best of our vacation. The Golden hour dinner, offered for 50 euros per person including wine, was basic but good value for money. The place is a bit hard to access but great for tranquility. As for the service, we are a bit bothered, at certain moments it was excellent and at other times a bit less, for example, by the pool, the chair service is not done automatically, you have to ask for it. At the reception, it took a bit long before we were directed to our rooms. However, we were well advised on activities in the region, and all the staff was courteous and kind.
