- • The hotel is located quite centrally and is in a beautiful old building with lots of flair and pleasantly high ceilings. We got an Executive room, which was exceptionally large and spacious. The entire hotel complex is also very large. As a result, the property seemed to me more like a classic hotel of an international chain rather than a personal boutique hotel. Breakfast is officially served from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. However, during our visit, parts of the buffet were already being cleared by 10:00 a.m., which I found unusual and disturbing. The selection and quality of the buffet did not quite meet my expectations for a hotel of this category. I would like to highlight the option to order additional dishes a la carte, which were abundant and tasty. Highly recommended is the rooftop bar. The view over Jakarta is excellent, especially at dusk and after dark. A visit for a cocktail is definitely worth it, although the prices are approximately at a European level. We found it unpleasant that the padded headboard of our bed had visible stains, which should not happen in a hotel of this category in my opinion. Overall, the stay had some positive aspects, especially the spacious room, the historic building, and the rooftop bar. However, due to the size, the rather impersonal atmosphere for me, the breakfast experience, and the condition of the headboard, I would not book the hotel again for another stay in Jakarta.

- • The only downside was that there were no balconies in the rooms. Otherwise, I think it's quite pricey for Indonesia.

A great place to spend a few days in Jakarta!
Great location in a quiet area but close to Cikini station, great coffee and restaurants. The beds and pillows were so comfortable!

Beautiful colonial style building with impeccable design. Good location to some great restaurants and places nearby plus a great antique market where we bought some good traditional Indonesian crafts as presents. The room was very comfortable and a large size. The staff were kind and helpful, plus the pool and rooftop bar were a good place to unwind or have a cocktail at the end of a busy day exploring.
