- • One thing I found annoying was the rush to get a spot on the beach, there was no turnover... poor quality drinks, the evening is a bit boring.
Many ads saying we come back here and it's always beautiful! Cozy structure with staff always available and very kind! Enviable position! It's always a guarantee.

Lovely place for a quiet holiday, a shame to see litter around the hotel.
We really loved the hotel because it was simple and the snorkeling was excellent.

- • There was litter 10m from the hotel entrance and around the grounds. The transfer to the airport suggested by the reception was 2.5 times the local price!!!

A wonderfully relaxed break with pampering right on the Red Sea.
The food at the hotel restaurant was excellent. We had buffet three times a day with a wide selection of omelets, fruits, soups, salads, casseroles, grilled or braised meat, vegetable dishes, cakes, desserts. We were completely happy to be able to sit at the set table. Snorkeling at the house reef was very nice, without the wind, it could have been even better. There were mainly gray corals damaged by global warming, but also occasionally brightly pink or rose-colored ones, indicating a recovery of the reef, a colorful variety of fish, we saw turtles, some wrasses, giant clams, blue-spotted rays, and a barracuda. The hotel's location to the Gemal National Park is optimal, short guided tours can be taken, for example, with a quad. An integrated diving school also offers trips to the islands. The hotel offers beautifully landscaped and well-maintained outdoor areas and bars as well as rooms.

- • The hotel's location is remote. There is no town or village. You can relax wonderfully, but also get bored. The big negative point in our week was the lack or insufficient internet supply. We are heavily dependent on communication with home and that didn't work so well at Shams Alam. It wouldn't have been so bad if the weather had been better. Unfortunately, there was a constant wind and snorkeling was limited in time. But that can be better next week. In advance, you should get an Egyptian sim card at the airport or online for an alternative program.

Great dive base for Wadi el Galam National Park.
Amazing snorkeling and great dive shop on site. Very relaxed place with a great beach and house reefs for snorkeling. Dive shop was good - good kit and safe guides.
