It's an 8.5 in reality - Very good location, very kind staff
1) The location is great, we walked pretty much everywhere. Plenty of restaurants, cafes, and landmarks nearby. 2) The staff is very helpful and kind. Shout out to Jose in the kitchen! 3) The breakfast was very good. 4) If you get a room facing the park on a higher floor, you'll have a pretty decent view from the terrace.

- • 1) The room key cards get demagnetized often. We had issues entering the room multiple times, and we only stayed 2 nights (1.5 days). 2) The rooms are pretty narrow, there's not a lot of space for an open suitcase, you kinda have to jump over things.
Excellent lodging option in Lastarria, close to everything!

Excellent stay, with a great location, attentive staff, and a delicious breakfast.
Our stay at Hotel Ismael in Santiago was excellent! We would like to thank the entire team for their attention, kindness, and care during our stay, especially Diego, always very attentive, and chef José Paulo Aguilera, who provided us with a delicious and high-quality breakfast. The entire hotel team was extremely welcoming and attentive. We truly felt at home. The location was quiet and privileged, close to everything, with easy access to various interesting points in the city. The rooms had a very beautiful view. Although compact, they were comfortable, well-maintained, and cozy. We will definitely return many more times! We recommend Hotel Ismael for those looking for a pleasant, welcoming, and well-located stay in Santiago.

- • As the only points to improve, I would mention the room heating, whose temperature was standardized and could not be adjusted directly, requiring any changes to be requested at the reception. The hotel's Wi-Fi was very good in common areas, but the signal did not work as well in the rooms. Other than that, our experience was excellent, and we were very satisfied with our stay.
Lovely hotel.
