Receiving WhatApps from Guest Relation Officer Tesa following up on my trip was a surprised. The text has also reminded me on my ferry booking. This kind gesture have given me the feeling that the hotel welcome us and also appreciate our stay.

Had a pleasant stay here. Location was very near to harbour bay ferry terminal (walking distance). Check-in was swift. Prior to our arrival, I received a message on WhatsApp from concierge if there’s anything they can assist (tip top service). Room was nicely done up as per our remark. Room nice and clean, spacious. We love the overall experience. This is a very quiet area, away from the main road and we personally find it to be very peaceful. Also, they have quite a number of convenience stalls nearby 24/7. They also have 24/7 massage service if you’ll like a good rub. Price is also very affordable! Lastly, I’d like to thank Tesa, Salma, Jaka and Agung for their great hospitality! Not forgetting the male housekeeper at L4 for helping with our request too! Thank you!!

Grand Deluxe room is comfortable with a nice bath tub, be sure to bring your bath fizzy or bubbler

Overall it was a pleasant stay. The bed was comfortable and cleanliness was tip top condition. Less than 5 min walk from harbourbay ferry center. There is a 24hrs Spa which the price was reasonable. The hot water seem to be inconsistent, after you fill water for your bathtub, the water will not be hot for your shower. Another occurrence was that there was a power failure and my family and Myself were trap in the lift for about 1minute. The Front Office Manager personally text myself and apologies for the incident. Great customer service but hope it wont happen again as it could be scary for a complete darkness for my young kid.

We chose to stay here in the Presidential Suite during our short getaway to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We were very pleased with the high level of attention to detail shown by Maya and her team. She made sure our check in process was seamless, and even prepared the room with a surprise for my husband, complemented with a personal note from the hotel team. The room itself was huge, with two toilets, of which one had an area to shower as well. There was a dining room, living area and the bedroom. The bedroom was large enough for a king sized bed and an extra rollaway bed we requested for. The bedroom also had a walk in wardrobe. While the hotel is not the newest, the property itself is clean enough for a short getaway and we look forward to staying in the newly renovated hotel the next time we visit Batam. It is easy to get transport from the hotel to the big malls. It is walking distance from Harbour Bay Ferry Terminal, and to awesome seafood joints like Wey Wey Seafood and Baycity Seafood. It was worth it traveling to Batam and trying out staying in the big suite!

The staff are warm and made one feel welcomed. They provided prompt service, for example, they were fast when we asked for extra pillow. Moreover, the hotel location is within walking distance from the ferry terminal. The downside is that the water pressure seemed inconsistent and appeared slightly weak, especially for shower. It would be great if the room carpet is being vacuumed during room cleaning.

Walkable from Ferry service, clean and tidy with large rooms. While hotel is extending and construction taking place it did not impinge on our stay. Breakfast included was a very large selection of food options. Taxis' and Grab transport was close

Breakfast buffet can be improved. Cleaniness wise, average but better than majority of the hotels in Batam.

Hi, Overall the hotel was fantastic is just the bed very itchy and the bedsheet very rough and uncomfortable to sleep in and the air in the room was very dry ,my wife and I have an uncomfortable breathing and cough.

Check in and out processes are fast and smooth. Room is clean and spacious. Hotel is just a walking distance to restaurants, spa and wellness centres and convenience stores.Suitable for a short getaway and if want to stay nearby the Habour Bay ferry terminal.

The first time check in was terrible. The male staff only mentioned to signed in. Thats it. Making me to wait for more than 15 mins as the president suite was not ready at 1600hrs. Plus, never even apologies for the wait. He didn't even bother to mentioned to me that i have to wait longer than 15 ins as it was not ready. Then hot tub water was not even hot. There was no benefit for customer even to take president suite. No late check out or any complementary gifts during my stay. Mentioned to the same front desk staff during check out on my stay. The staff didn't even bother, as per review mentioned all staff were well versed in english. Regret on my stay at this hotel. Dont wish to come again with the awful hospitality.

Good location near to Harbour bay. Hotel is quite old which needs to be upgrade soon. Breakfast buffet spread need to be improved with more choices.

Excellent Front Desk!

I was not feeling well during check in. The front desk staff Dika recommended a hospital and arranged free transport to send me there. He even offered to help us changed our ferry tickets to ensure I can go back to Singapore for emergency treatment. He helped me a lot within a short period of time! Impressed with his service. Thank you.👍

Overall was amazing

The surrounding of the hotel did not feel very safe. Also, some stains on the walls in the hotel room caught my eye, making it feel like an old building.

Benefits for regular guests

Hotel should reward regular guests. Eg cheaper rate, simplified checkin processes, discounted massage, etc

Air con not as cold as before. Centralised control aircon cannot be adjusted in the room. Need to request for the mini fridge separately.

Staff was really helpfull. Lots of food varieties amd yummy. Room was really beautiful. So much space. But the pool was not cleaned. Dont get fooled withpool photos. That pool is not there now.

It is situated near the Harbourbay Ferry Terminah. Service staff was acceptable although they could have been more approachable and serve with more smiles. Room was clean although they could have check on the room we book as the toilet flush wasn't working well when we check-in but it was retified. Replenish of items at the breakfast buffet could have been more pro-active especially with the coffee bean machine near the middle section.

Great stay. Would come back again. Close to where I wanted to go. Close to the ferry terminal. Good entertainment.

Nice hotel

We had 3 rooms for the 6 of us. The hotel lobby and check in service was great. Rooms are comfortable and aircon is cold.

Hotel was close to the ferry boat and seafood restaurants and only a $3 cab ride to the local shopping mals. Beware if the hotel asks for a deposit at check in. If you place it onto your credit card it goes down as a charge and not as a holding fee.

Conveniently located. I especially love the continental breakfast the hotel serves.. food are hot and choices are plenty. Service staffs are courteous. Not forgetting the room services staff too. I was inform by the front desk staff when i checkout on 18th September at 1335hrs, that the room service staff notice a sweater and mobile phone charger inside the room. I was suprised by the room service staff honestly.. as i was in a rush, i did not take notice of the staff name, but i hope the hotel will reward him for his honestly. For sure, i will check into swiss-belhotel in the near future and i definitely recommed the hotel to my friends...

Everything was perfect except a long screw found on the carpet when we first check-in. Luckily, we didn't step on it.

how come you cannot order taxi from outside hotel

I was on business trip in Batam. I wonder why they restrict on taxi ordering from local online taxi?

Bathtub leaks, water pressure is low and fridge should have a normal door, not a glass door.

This property is quite of age. The toilet bathroom is not well wash. Towel a little old. Lights too dim for working. Working desk light has intermittent problem and bar fridge is not cold and take a long time to cool the drinks

Room is clean and well maintained. However, noise from next room is audible. Staff service is overall just OK.

Room was generally clean with nice bay view but noise from the 3rd floor night club was overbearing! Due to Poor sound proofing of room, my whole family was disturbed the entire night, couldn’t get decent night of rest. Limited choices at Buffet dinner , almost all food ran out when we arrive at 7:30pm( buffet timing was 6:30-10pm). Food Replenishment was very slow and not for all type.

The hotel is walking distance to the harbour bay ferry terminal. Breakfast buffet was great they had a variety of food. Room was spacious and clean. Enjoyed the massage at grand Odiseus fitness and spa.

The hotel is totally different from the pictures taken and it was too old and condition is poor. water pressure is terrible and we could not take a proper shower at all.

Other than the water pressure from the shower goes 15 seconds Super strong and 10 seconds normal.. all is good

donna had not been changed and someone had blown nose on it, disgusting. towels had a bad smell as did the room, terrible breakfast, dont allow grab to do pickups. not goog value for price charged.

Great location, within walking distance to a cinema, supermarket, Nasi Padang place, seafood restaurants and also to the Harbour bay ferry terminal. Air con is very cold though.

This is my 2nd time stay, I believe I will go back to this hotel if I go batam again.

Acceptable stay. A bit dated but clean. Good for 1 night.

Bad service. Went early and they say can only check in at 2pm so get us to register first. Around 1.30pm my sis got her room so we went to her room to let the kids rest and we were told 2pm i will have my room and was asked to wait at my sis's room and they will send the room card to us. Waited till 2.05pm called to ask for our room, they say not yet ready and had to wait another 5 to 10 minutes. So we waited till 2.20pm . Called and check and was put on hold very long and then line cut off so we call back again and then they still say must wait. So i went down straight to front desk and ask. And manage to get around 2.40pm. I understand it is holiday so peak period will be busy but if you could not make it to give us the room just say so.

Staff service was excellent. As it was Puasa, room service took longer than usual. Great location for a family holiday.

The hotel is near the Harbour Bay Ferry Terminal, walking takes only 10mins. The massage shop opposite the hotel is good.
