A lovely place to
The Village House is really the perfect place to relax. The staff is incredibly helpful, friendly, and welcoming. They do everything to ensure you have a pleasant stay. The inner garden is beautiful, with various plants and flowers everywhere. Around the pool, there are several nice sitting areas where you can relax. The Village House is also a great base if you want to climb Mount Santubong. A nice extra is that you can borrow a bike or mountain bike for free to explore the area. The breakfast is simple but good, and you can choose from different options: a traditional Malaysian breakfast with rice, pancakes, or an English breakfast.

- • The wifi was not working. We didn't need it, but if you do, it's wise to ask (in advance) if it works.
Nice and cozy hotel with a very nice pool
Very nice and cozy hotel with friendly staff. The pool was a welcome option for cooling off after a day out in the sun and heat. The whole hotel area was cozy with small seating areas where you could relax and sunbathe.

- • The kitchen needs improvement and has a limited selection. The bar also needs a restocking.

The accommodation was top. Beautiful stay, lovely pool, and truly enjoying the tranquility.

- • We stayed for 7 nights... From the 1st day we arrived, there was a shortage of various products that are on the menu. Almost daily, it was difficult to get a cocktail, which I really consider a big downside. The dinner (rendang) I, as a Dutch person, make 10 times better.

Had a super stay
Beautiful hotel, very friendly staff, the pool, the bikes you can use. Very handy to go to the beach or to the village and the archaeological sites in the village that you can visit for free.

- • You can hear everything in the room. The pool remains on during the night, so I slept with earplugs because of the noise. The price of the excursions is too expensive compared to other providers. The food was tasty, but 4 small pieces of chicken, of which 3 are mostly bone, is quite an expensive chicken with curry.
As they have provided free shuttle, I could reach my objectives there.
Room is comfortable and clean. Breakfast is excellent. Pool facility is very good.

- • Village House is located in a remote area. Without shuttle service, we cannot reach anywhere as no other transport is available. As long as you are inside, the facilities are good. But outside everything is far...
