Great stay
Very warm welcome. Very attentive staff: from Tommy the boss to the different managers. We especially appreciated CHAN for his professionalism... and the icing on the cake: HE HAS IMPECCABLE FRENCH!! This establishment is very well located, a stone's throw away: -from the metro serving 3 lines (1,3,5) -from one of the palaces of Seoul -from Ikseon dong (you take the street in front, then go left and you're there). Ah if you miss that, you miss everything: small shops, cafes, BBQ restaurants, and a street with both sidewalks filled with tables for eating! -Insadong: a very lively street where you can buy souvenirs In short, we had an excellent stay in Seoul and also at Hostel TOMMY. Thank you TOMMY and keep taking care of your guests! Thanks to AMBRE too, our young Frenchwoman who is part of the staff until August 2026 🥰

I stayed in Seoul for 11 nights and had a great time throughout the stay. The location of the hostel
I especially liked the welcome, the kindness of the staff, the cleanliness and the location of the property: everything was truly excellent. A special thanks goes to Tommy, the hostel manager, and his colleague Chan. They are two wonderful, humble, always smiling and helpful people. They did everything to make us feel at home, showing an uncommon attention and availability. They also had a special consideration for my 9-year-old son, making him feel welcomed and pampered with great sweetness. It is rare to meet people so genuine and caring. If I return to Seoul, I will definitely choose to stay here again. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making our trip even more beautiful.

Great place to stay in Seoul, definitely recommended
Very good location, the hostel had everything that a passing traveler needs: beds, light breakfast, washing machine, a place to cook and rest, as well as to interact with other travelers. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, the place is clean and well organized, we slept well and even though I happened to lose the keys to the room and came back at Sunday night, I was helped out to enter our room and have the key replaced easily without major constraints (sorry from my side!) I liked that we were close to a lot of street food vendors, 2 major palaces and a major subway stop.

Perfect first stop in Seoul
Wow! I was very grateful for Tommy hostel as a perfect day for my first visit to Korea. The location is excellent from the airport and getting around the city with plenty of top sites to see within walking distance. The staff were fantastic, even Tommy himself helped me with my laundry! Breakfast was great, absolutely enough to get you out and ready for the day. My room had Aircon which I needed and the window had a fly screen. Lovely bathroom ensuite and I definitely slept well in the bed. Lots of helpful, accessible extras like hair straighteners and iron
