An oasis of calm in the busy city
Our first hotel in Sri Lanka. Very calm and comfortable after our long travel from England. The area around the hotel is very hectic in the heart of the city but the hotel provided an oasis of calm. Lovely large rooms, a gorgeous pool and a lovely breakfast.

Superb hotel and staff
Fantastic hotel, don't stay in the Mandarina stay here (we stayed at the Mandarina ad well), rooms are superb small and super friendly hotel, everything about, the staff the bar restaurant area, the breakfast and pool area were brilliant, location is ok for 2 nights.

Excellent hotel with friendly, helpful staff.
Lovely hotel with excellent, friendly staff. Good breakfast. Lovely rooftop restaurant with good food. Very comfortable large bedrooms. We had a suite.

Fantastic stay at this hotel. All staff went above and beyond to make our stay fabulous. The breakfast was gorgeous, We very much enjoyed the Sri Lankan breakfast dishes. Amazing cocktails and tasting Arrack in the evening in the roof top bar and restaurant. If I could give this 10 stars I would. Well done to all of the staff at The Columbo Court Hotel.

- • Breakfast limited for a 5* hotel staff too casual prices appeared to be on location support facilities (spa and gym) only basic and for additional rating. Not value for money better properties in the area
