I recommend it for the location and architecture
Air conditioning working, good location for those who want to stay close to Pelourinho and Mercado Modelo. Honest breakfast. The building is very beautiful and the architecture is well preserved.

Short stay that was worth it
The stay was short. We spent the night just to catch the catamaran to Morro de São Paulo the next day. The inn is very well located, a few meters from the Elevador Lacerda. The inn occupies a historic building and therefore has some limitations, but the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower and air conditioning worked perfectly. We considered the breakfast good. The staff was attentive from the beginning of the stay. Overall, it was an excellent cost-benefit ratio.

AC was leaking all over the wall and the floor. They sent someone to fix it but it was leaking during my whole stay. They did offer to change my room but I was already settled in and said no. They did make the bed and change the towels every day. Breakfast was lackluster but included with the stay. Other guests were extremely noisy when walking up and down the stairs, especially the kids who were vocally loud as well while running up and down the stairs.
